Help please really fast!! Triangle QRS is similar to triangle TUV. Using the image below, prove that parallel lines have the same slope. You must show all of your work to receive credit.

Let RQ and UT be parallel to the y axis and SQ and VT parallel to the x axis. Triangles QRS and TUV have all their corresponding sides parallel are therefore similar.

RQ / UT = QS/ TV RQ/QS= UT/TV According to the definition of slope, RQ / QS is the slope of line L1 and UT / TV is the slope of L2 and are therefore equal.
