I'm not understanding how to do this problem: Find the domain and range of the exponential function h(x) = 125x. As x decreases, does h increase or decrease? Explain. As x increases, does h increase or decrease? Explain.

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Is that \(h(x) = 125^{x}\;or\;h(x) = 125x\) or something else?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Domain: What values can go in? Start with All Real Numbers and see if you are forced to throw out anything. Range: What values can you get out? Again, start with All Real Numbers and decide if there are any that cannot be obtained? Slope: ?? Why did I mention that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is \[h(x)=125^x\]. Okay.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, the output can't be less than zero.
