remember to use BODMAS. Note also that -3 + ( -8) ÷ 4 - 5 is the same as -3 - 8 ÷ 4 - 5 So we need to do the division part first. Therefore you'll solve it like this -3 - (8 ÷ 4) - 5 = ?
