Well first off every right Triangle must be = to 180
so We already have a 90+ 45+45 = 180
OpenStudy (ajanijones):
The angle of x is 45.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
or you have the 90 60 30 triangle
OpenStudy (anonymous):
@heather_theginger could you please explain how you figured out that it is D
OpenStudy (anonymous):
If you have time

@peachpi Do you understand this one?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
tan x = opposite/adjacent
What are the length of these sides?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I was thinking wrong it is A. because SOHCAHTOA sine = opposite/hypotenuse cosine = adjacent/hypotenuse and tangent = opposite/adjacent
OpenStudy (anonymous):
That's right
OpenStudy (anonymous):
adjacent = 6?
opposite = 8?
hypotenuse = 10?

OpenStudy (anonymous):
yep. so tan x = 8/6
OpenStudy (anonymous):
You got that by the adjacent and the opposite?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yes
OpenStudy (anonymous):
thank you
OpenStudy (anonymous):
You're welcome. As long as you label the triangles you'll be ok

I want to give you both metals... but I can't @heather_theginger @peachpi
OpenStudy (anonymous):
It's cool you gave me a medal so I gave @peachpi one
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Thank you :) because you both helped me...
