solve the system {-5x-y =21 {3x-4y+5z=-8 {-3x -z=12 a (-4,1,-1) b (21,-8, 12) c (4,-1,0) d (-4,-1, 0)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is hard

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can eliminate y in the first equation and in the second equation. which will you leave an equation \[23x + 5z = -92\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is matrices

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh it should be in matrix form?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is in the format of the question but I need to know how to solve the system

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh you can use it in the calculator if its in matrix form, press mode set up then press EQN then click anX + bnY + cnZ = dn. i can't remember on how to do it in a paper if it's in matrix form but i can show you if it is elimination and substitution technique. :) sorry
