I need to show my work can any one help I know the answer I need to know how to solve Which image is the translation of translations given by the translation rule (x, y) → (x – 4, y + 2)? graph

OpenStudy (loser66):

and the points?

OpenStudy (loser66):

or pic?

OpenStudy (loser66):

What do you want to know? (x,y) to (x-4,y+2) means: if the point A ( 0,1) then, after translation, it becomes A'(-4, 5), that's it

OpenStudy (loser66):

The first pic is the original one, right?

OpenStudy (loser66):

next 4 are the options, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh okay I was just confused thanks and yes those are options I needed to show my work but there really isn't work to be shown

OpenStudy (loser66):

So, from the first pic, tell me, what are the coefficient of A, B, C? like A ( 0,1.5) , B (....

OpenStudy (loser66):

Yes, they are

OpenStudy (loser66):

The work you have to show is: The original triangle ABC has vertex A (0,1.5), B (....,...), C(...,...)

OpenStudy (loser66):

After translation, A becomes A'(0-4, 1.5+2) =(-4,3.5) B becomes B'(.... C becomes C'(.... Hence the image of ABC after translation is a) or b), or c) or d) whatever you find out.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank you so much
