When limiting factors _______, diversity in populations _________. decrease; increases decrease; decreases increase; increases stays the same; increases
@WhatEven
I would say b or c but I'd get another opinion first
@geny55 What do you think?
a limiting factor is a factor in an ecosystem that causes organisms to struggle with survival
this could be competition between organisms that have the same niche, limited resources, etc.
...so what do you think? :)
When these factors are taken away (decreased), do you think that the populations within the ecosystem and the diversity would increase or decrease?
the answer is A. when the struggles between organisms decrease (aka limiting factors), the birth rate increases and the death rate within the ecosystem decreases, leading to an increase population and diversity
