HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPP!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

LA= ph and SA= LA + 2B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

p is the perimeter of the base and h is the height of the figure

OpenStudy (triciaal):

lateral surface area is the perimeter of the base times the height the area of the base rectangle length times width area of triangle 1/2 times base times height total surface area of the prism is 2 times the area of the base added to the lateral area

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so you would plug the numbers in like this: LA= (50) (2) LA= 100 then, for the surface area, it would be this: SA= 100 + 2 (114) SA= 328 or the formula could be 2(wl+hl+hw) in that case, when you plug in the numbers, you would get 2(6)(19) + (2)(19) + (2)(6) you would still get 328 thats for the rectangular prism.

OpenStudy (triciaal):

@HackberryAbby18 are you ok now? can you do each problem

OpenStudy (triciaal):

@LM_24 did all the work for the first one can you try the other ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for the triangular prism, the LA=ph LA= (12.39) (26) LA= 322.14 then for the surface area, it would be as follows: SA= LA + 2B SA= 322.14 + 2(5) SA= 332.14 when rounded to the nearest whole number, it would be 332 **i got the 5 in the surface area by doing 1/2bh to find the area of the triangle 1/2(5)(2)= 5
