Find all the zeros of the equation. -4x4 - 44x2 + 3600 = 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can first factor out a four

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Austin6i6 I know how to factor but what does that have to do with finding the zeros?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[-4x^4 - 44x^2 + 3600\]

OpenStudy (triciaal):

you will have smaller numbers to work with

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you need to factor the quadratic equation so you can find the roots. in other words where it crosses the x axis

OpenStudy (triciaal):

the graphs will be the same one is magnified by the "factor"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Austin6i6 okay awesome thank you i think i got it :)

OpenStudy (triciaal):

the x value will not change the factor is the "a" in the general equation this changes the Y value
