Plug in the answer choices you were given into the equation. The points: \(\sf (x,y)\) And whatever number they give you in the x spot replaces the x in: y = 3x – 4 and whatever y value is in the point, replaces the y in the equation. BOTH points MUST be TRUE when plugged into the equation for the answer choice to be correct.
