Find the surface area of the regular pyramid to the nearest whole number. The figure is not drawn to scale. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/oXVmjcJwMvjk0cIEvowEgKzV556-JwvnSKoUY85crsSWXMPM4advBWRcGnxwaHd01i2R8VM=s96 a. 862m sq. b. 540m sq. c. 1125m sq. d. 647m sq.
All you need is [Base Area] + [Lateral Area], so solve for the base and each side, then add them all together to get your surface area. :)
what would those formulas be?
oh and how do expand 7.5√3?
If that picture is a hexagon for the base, then you need \(a = \frac{3\sqrt{3}}{2}*a^2\) and \(\frac{1}{2}b*h\) for each side. You shouldn't need to expand it.
You use that in your area equation of \(A = \frac{1}{2}*a*h\), where 'h' is your \(7.5\sqrt{3}\) and a is your edge length.
