Worker hours to produce one barrel of crude oil Worker hours to produce one ton of coal United States Developed 4 5 Country A Developing 6 5 Country B Developed 7 3 Using the chart, identify an example of comparative advantage for the United States over either Country A or Country B. Be sure to identify the product and the country. Explain how the AVAILABILITY and use of a natural resource may impact advantage.
Is it a chart?
yes
Okay so it takes the U.S. 4 worker hours to produce one barrel of crude oil and 5 worker hours to produce one ton of coal. For country A, it takes 6 worker hours to produce one barrel of crude oil and 5 worker hours (same as the U.S.) to produce one ton of coal. For country B, it takes 7 worker hours to produce one barrel of crude oil but only 3 hours to produce on ton of coal...and notice that country A is the only developing country
right
so far I explained how the availability and use of natural resource may impact advantage
And we have to identify an example of comparative advantage for the United States over either Country A or Country B
