I'm having a party, I want at least three bratwursts or three hamburgers for each of my 30 guests. Bratwursts are $1.25ea. & hamburgers are $0.75ea. My budget is $120. Which system of inequalities best represents my situation?

what do you think it is?

OpenStudy (stormswan):

x= the number of bratwursts, and y= the number of hamburgers. You need to feed 30 people. Therefore, x+y is greater than, or equal to 90. (because you want everyone to have at least 3)

OpenStudy (stormswan):

Now, the most you can spend is $120 right? okay. so you would then see that it should be 1.25x + 0.75y is greater than, or equal to 120.

I figured it out thanks (:

No problem :)
