Just add all the x, and add al the numbers by themselves, so you have: x+3+2x-5+x+7. First let's add all the x, we have x+2x+x, so basically we have 1+2+1=4, therefore 4x, as for the numbers alone we have 3-5+7=5, so we add them up and we get 4x+5. Cheers!
