Given Base 2, 6 Digits, what's the Unsigned Range?

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Well, what did you think it was? For each digit there are only two possibilites. If we use 0 and 1, for 1 diigit that is 2. But for 2 digits it is 4: 00 01 10 11 For 3 digits it is 8: 000 001 010 100 011 110 101 111 Do you notice a pattern in this? 1 digit = 2 possiblities 2 d = 4 p 3 d = 8 p

OpenStudy (rsmith6559):

For all number systems, the answer would be: base^numberOfDigits With a range of: 0 to base^numberOfDigits-1.
