So, for these verbs, which one matches the subject?

Example: Obviously, this one doesn't because THEY is a plural subject, but IS is a singular being verb.

They is not gonna get away. I ain't talkin bad grammah!

But, this one does:
They are not going to get away. That person is REALLY talking bad grammar.

So, based off of this info, what do you think it is?

Well, since EVERYTHING is a singular pronoun subject, then let's just take all of the junk out of the sentence that is confusing you.
