is there a better way than just getting it close and just guessing
like the cube root of 625 ik the answer but if i did i would just have to guess is there a mathematical w to find the answer

You know the SQUARE root of 625, not the CUBE root.

If you aren't allowed to use a calculator, then they will be giving you numbers that you can easily find the cube root or square root of.
