Which was a Chinese influence in Korea? Political initiative was in the hands of ruling classes. The court and bureaucracy were organized along similar lines. Talent and merit became the route to advancement. Royal houses and the aristocracy dominated society.

PBS online says: The Korean kingdoms were influenced by Chinese trade goods and culture. Korean writing systems (4th century a.d.), architecture, political systems, religions, and even musical instruments came from China. Koreans adapted these Chinese things and made them their own.
