Tropical fish owners must keep the water in the tank from getting too warm or the fish will die. Why is this true? There is too much surface area in the water. The water evaporates too quickly. The dissolution of oxygen increases. The dissolution of the oxygen decreases.

I believe its because the dissolution of oxygen decreases. I myself have a reef tank, and the main problem of getting too hot is that is makes breathing hard for fish.
