Geographic features would be a large inland desert. One prominent rock formation in the middle of the island and isolation from most of the world. 
So what can we eliminate with that information?

D seems to be a feature of most primitive groups. The isolation of groups on the island seem more likely to NOT be a feature. 
But is you've got evidence. Go with that.
