HELP ASAP!!!!!
@jabez177
this is what it says: 1. Consider what you learned about renewable energy sources. Use what you learned to design a car that operates entirely on renewable energy sources. 2. Think about the following issues: • What renewable sources of energy are available? • Which sources could be used to operate the car? How could each source be used? • What equipment would be needed? Where would this equipment be located? • What backup systems should be included? 3. On a separate sheet of paper, draw your designs for a renewable-energy car. Label your drawings to identify the energy sources you used and to explain how each system works.
1. Which renewable energy sources did you use in your car? 2. What are the advantages of using renewable energy sources instead of fossil fuels? 3. Which renewable energy sources did you not include in your designs? Why didn’t you use them? 4. Do you think people in the future will have cars like the ones you designed? Why or why not?
Okay, so science. Hmm...
yup you dont have to answer everything
Did you end up making a car?
well thats my plan lol
im not supposed to make a real car just plan it out
What renewable sources of energy are available? ok so i think this is... Biomass, Wind, Hydro-power, Geothermal and Solar sources. ??
Do you have to list all of them
no but i can look for it
Renewable resources are those that are either always available or are naturally replaced in a relatively short period of time. Examples: sunlight, wind, water, wildlife, and forests This is what i found in my lesson
Okay so # 2: We should list all of them. So, Solar power for the sun (obviously), air compression for wind, and water-fueled for water. And for nature, I heard that theres a car powered by vegetable oil...
woah... that's how dangerous vegetable oil is... lol
I know, seriously
Which renewable source do you think would be best?
umm... solar power
Okay good idea. When you have to plan out the solar powered car, are you planning out a model, or the actual car?
Just so we can't get mixed up on what we are supposed to answer... • What renewable sources of energy are available? • Which sources could be used to operate the car? How could each source be used? • What equipment would be needed? Where would this equipment be located? • What backup systems should be included?
So we answered number 1
its like the blueprints for the car
Okay I get it
yup
So the sources we already answered that too. So now we have to answer, how could each source be used?
So for the dot number 1 i put sunlight, wind, water, wildlife, and forests right? and then for #1 i put solar and water (it said sorces)
So for dot number 1, you should say: Renewable sources that can be used would be sunlight, wind, water, and a few organic compunds
#2 The advantages of using renewable energy sources instead of fossil fuels are less pollution, reduced ozone layer depletion, and less diseases.
Do you have to answer the dots too?
yes
how about you do the dots and I do the numbers? if that ok with you... :D
Okay so we should focus on the dots first, and then focus on the numbers
Yeah, thats okay with me
ok thanks :D
we can focus on the dots first :)
Okay
Dot # 2: The sources that could be used would be, solar sources, water sources, and wind sources. These sources can be used in different ways. With solar sources, a car can be powered by the energy of the sun using solar panels. With water sources, a car can be powered using any type of water. This car is powered by extracting hydrogen from water. And with wind sources a car can be powered by taking the converting wind into electrical energy
Sorry, I took so long... I was researching stuff about wind and sun and water powered cars
im thinking solar panel windows and sun roof idk about the wind and water thing
maybe water powered fuel? and wind powered air conditioning? idk if it sound stupid... lol
This Guy ლ(ಠ౪ಠლ)
water powered windshield wipers? idk
Dot # 3: For solar powered cars, equipment needed would be solar panels and car batteries. For water powered cars, the only equipment needed would be water, and for air powered cars, equipment would include a car battery, and a wind turbine.
where would they be located?
Water is located pretty much anywhere, solar panels and wind turbines can both be made with common items, and car batteries can be found in any autoshop, or they can also be made.
Backup systems that should be included could be a spare battery in case there are nay malfunctions with the first battery
*any
what about spare tires also?
Okay sure. And we should add a fuel tank just in case something goes wrong.
yep :) good thinking
• What renewable sources of energy are available? Renewable sources that can be used would be sunlight, wind, water, and a few organic compounds. • Which sources could be used to operate the car? How could each source be used? The sources that could be used would be, solar sources, water sources, and wind sources. These sources can be used in different ways. With solar sources, a car can be powered by the energy of the sun using solar panels. With water sources, a car can be powered using any type of water. Water is located pretty much anywhere, solar panels and wind turbines can both be made with common items, and car batteries can be found in any auto shop, or they can also be made. (i thought it meant like water powered windshield wipers or something like that) • What backup systems should be included? Backup systems that should be included are a spare battery, spare tires, and a fuel tank.
So, thats it right?
well... i still need to do the numbers: 1.
1)The renewable sources that I used would be wind, sun and water. 2) The benefits of using renewable resources instead of using fossil fuels would be that renewable energy is renewable, so it basically will never run out. Also, renewable energy is more green and healthy towards the Earth, so it causes less pollution, in fact, it reduces polution
Is this correct? 1. Which renewable energy sources did you use in your car? I used solar, wind, and water sources in my car. 2. What are the advantages of using renewable energy sources instead of fossil fuels? The advantages of using renewable energy sources instead of fossil fuels are cleaner air, less diseases, better economy. 3. Which renewable energy sources did you not include in your designs? Why didn't you use them? I didn't use organic compounds because it would've been too complicated to use in the car. 4. Do you think people in the future will have cars like the ones you designed? Why or why not? Yes, because this is a more effective way to build cars and everyone will benefit from them.
3) I didnt include organic compounds because it seemed more practical to use more attainable resources. 4) Yes, because this is a more effective way to build cars and everyone will benefit from them.
Thats it
THANK YOU SOO MUCH!! i wouldn't have been able to do it without you! XD :D
Lol your welcome.. You should fan me. If you ever need help with anything else, just ask
I fanned you and added a testimonial also :)
Thank youuuu!
