can you explain how you got A please.

so you know that each sqaure  has to add up to a 180 degrees so all you have to do is add up 45=55 which is 100 and than you subtract 100 from 180 which leaves 80 and Q and S are the same angles so you need to divide 80 by 2 which is 40
