no, that would not be correct. this is a complete sentence. we just went over a very similar problem just now.... @Brookie105 and I explained the concepts of the simple sentence and compound sentence. :) now, this one has two components separated by the "and"... what do you think? hint: it is not a run on nor is it a fragment

compound sentences are linked together by "and" or "but" or "or" etc... semicolons... see the link i posted in your previous question!
