Describe a real or made up example of a contract that includes consideration.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Also describe a real or made up example of the tort of interference.

OpenStudy (aripotta):

do you know what consideration is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Something to think about?

OpenStudy (aripotta):

"Consideration is the concept of legal value in connection with contracts. It is anything of value promised to another when making a contract. It can take the form of money, physical objects, services, promised actions, abstinence from a future action, and much more." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Consideration

OpenStudy (aripotta):

wikipedia has an example of person A selling his car for $5,000 to person B. for A, the consideration is $5,000 for B, the consideration is the car

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok so what about the second question?

OpenStudy (aripotta):

if you wiki it, they give you real examples

OpenStudy (aripotta):

the first one would be the easiest to explain, i think

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know, it's just that I keep hearing that Wiki isn't really a good site because of people putting in whatever kind of info they want on the site so they can lie about whatever.

OpenStudy (aripotta):

well, if you don't trust the sources, you can make up your own example. just use the same theme: someone drove away customers by threatening violence
