quick question! I got suspended because i kept asking if someone goes to a ceratin school and a grade in the chat box , but when i post it in a specific section they say use they chat box so im confused

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Well if you kept on spamming the chats then yes, the moderators will take that to consideration.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well i need someone to who goes to my school for a group assibnment

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Can't you just ask your teacher for group collaboration.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no since were homeschooled we have to find it oursev ees

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

That doesn't make sense, you have to search for people in the same school? Your teacher should have clarified it differently. You're talking about a \(group\) project?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes it does make sense if u know english,

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Are you that user that is in 8th grade connections?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes im looking for someone in 8grade at connecitons?

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

You made so many accounts...you posted it way too many times.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes cause i need to fins

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Well, if you are not following the Code of Conduct, then yes, you were rightfully suspended.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what code of conduct i need a supervisor caht on this website they cant suspend someone for this thing no way!

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Turns out, there are not a lot of people in 8th grade here. This site is more high-school and college targeted.

OpenStudy (causticsyndicalist):

This Code of Conduct, sir/maam: http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haven't you seen? connections says: Students have to abide by the rules not to cheat by asking for direct answers. read the honor code again

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i mean not to cheat

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

If you have already asked in the chats and no one has responded with what you want to hear, then your best bet is that no one here is in 8th grade connections academy.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am in 6th grade connections.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Homeschooling makes you do a group assignment. Have you ever thought of just posting the assignment to get better help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what was the assignment? Tests, quick checks, quizzes, and portfolios count as cheating

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

And the question is, why do you keep making accounts after accounts to ask the same question?

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

I am currently home-schooled, ad we never had group work whatsoever.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well... in 6th grade connections, nobody ever has group assignments. Never. Ever.

OpenStudy (causticsyndicalist):

6th grade? Would that be "underage" according to OpenStudy standards? o_0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u can't even webmail other students. only teachers and stuff like that.

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

*8th not 6th grade

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

\(\color{blue}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @CausticSyndicalist 6th grade? Would that be "underage" according to OpenStudy standards? o_0 \(\color{blue}{\text{End of Quote}}\) Yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i stayed down 2 grades

OpenStudy (causticsyndicalist):

Wow. ,-,

OpenStudy (causticsyndicalist):

Even I managed to pass 6th grade. ._.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

@lookd Don't spam! Common forms of spam include: Posting a question multiple times within a short period of time. Posting a question that is off topic for a particular group (i.e. posting a physics question in the Mathematics group). Posting a reply that is not relevant to the topic of discussion within that question. Posting questions that are not, in fact, questions (for example, starting a question in the Mathematics group to wish someone "Happy Birthday"). ~ http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i went to connections because of super bullying -_-

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

How old are you? @dddd47906

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pls everyone don't view this post for 5 minutes it's... it's... private, i guess...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

only the high rankers can see this...

OpenStudy (amistre64):

there is a difference in asking: 1) I need someone on a collaboration assignment and 2) who goes to this school and goes to this grade, and has this eye color, and what your other personal information .....

OpenStudy (amistre64):

asking for personal information is not a valid question. Ask valid questions.

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

@lookd moderators and administrators do have access to messages. So do think before you send inappropriate messages to others.

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

@lookd Have you realized that all this time you could have gotten some fine help by just asking regular homework questions? Instead you have been asking for someone with almost the same genes as yourself. And you still haven't found someone. OpenStudy has a lot of users that go to many different schools. The chance of a user going to your school, having an OpenStudy account, being online at the same time as you ask, and actually seeing your question is very rare.

thomaster (thomaster):

If you ask questions like: anyone in connections biology 2? you're gonna end up suspended. Because 9 out of 10 times this is a student trying to find other student who already did the test so they can pass them the answers through private messages. That is why we usually suspend people with red usernames asking such questions.

OpenStudy (greencat):

Who are you talking to? It looks like he's gone for good now. I only happened upon this post because lookd pmed me if I was in Connections 8th grade.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

He'll be back with another account.

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Then the mods will banarang him again. :3

OpenStudy (greencat):

Does that make Batman BanMan?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

LOL
