Fungi disperse themselves by releasing spores, usually windblown. Most fungi grow as tubular filaments called hyphae. An interwoven mass of hyphae is called a mycelium.

hmmm what do you think?

OpenStudy (skittles_for_life6422):

Any one of these would be a characteristic of Fungi -It is a plant like microscopic multicellular organism living on a nutrient substrate. -They are achlorophyllous, heterotrophic thallophytes. -Every fungi contains mass of interwoven hyphae is called mycelium. -The mycelium may be unicellular or multicellular. -They have reserved food material in the form of glycogen or oil-droplets -They reproduce vegetatively by fragmentation, asexually by spores and sexually by gamates. Hope this helps B)
