plzz help
Which of the following points are NOT on the graph of y = -4x + 4? (1, 0) --> 0= -4(1)+4 --> this is correct because it does equal zero (2, 4)--> 4= -4(2)+4--> this is NOT correct because it equals -4 not 4 (0, 4)--> 4= -4(0)+4--> this is correct because it equals 4 (-1, 8)--> 8= -4(-1)+4--> this is correct because it equals 8
which one is it then
(2,4)
its just a matter of subbing... y = -4x + 4 now sub in your answer choices (x,y) and see which ones come out false. Which ones do not come out equal are your correct answers
I DONT KNOW !!!!
i already did it for you and told you the answer
so its 1,0
(1, 0) --> 0= -4(1)+4 --> this is correct because it does equal zero (2, 4)--> 4= -4(2)+4--> this is NOT correct because it equals -4 not 4 (0, 4)--> 4= -4(0)+4--> this is correct because it equals 4 (-1, 8)--> 8= -4(-1)+4--> this is correct because it equals 8 I said (2,4)
ok don't get sasy with me @hockeychick23
opi.....you are looking for the ones that do not equal.....so that would be (2,4) because... y = -4x + 4 (2,4)...x = 2 and y = 4 now sub 4 = -4(2) + 4 4 = -8 + 4 4 = -4 --- not correct....not on the line
B is correct
