What are Two of the solutions for the equation 2x + 3y = 12 is it (9, 2 or -2) and (0 or 1, 4)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

plug in the values for x and y to see which one equals the result. For the first one, if you plug in 9 for x, and -2 for y, you'll get 12. so thats a solution. (9, -2). Can you try the second one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So I'd plug in 0 for x and 4 for y? But how do you get the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes. The answer is already there, you'll just compare your own answer to make sure it equals 12. Get it?

Okay thanks
