What is the measure of the angle in standard position? Please no direct answers. I just need help getting started :)

OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Only two of the choices are in the 4th quadrant. Standard position angles start on the positive x-axis. If clockwise from there, the angle is negative. If counterclockwise, it's positive.

OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

So it's either c or d, correct @peachpi?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

Okay....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry I got kicked out & now experiencing a lot of lag... Do you have a unit circle?

OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

It's all good. I'm not quite familiar with what you are talking about....

OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

One sec

OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

This?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So look in the 4th quadrant for the coordinates in your problem

OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

Ah, okay so \(11 \pi /6\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right, or 330°. But your angle is negative, so subtract 360° to get it

OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

30!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-30

OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

Whoops, my bad

OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

Awesomeness....thank you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you're welcome

Would you mind helping me with one more?
