I think we should have more control on our chat rooms because sometimes it gets out of hand. I know we have some mods that go in there but we need more people going there and stopping the spammers and people talking about inappropriate stuff.

Like there should be an option to suspended and ban people from the chat rooms. If they are suspended/baned then they cant do anymore harm. If a new person comes to OS and sees the chat room an the words being said etc then it would give OS a bad reputation.

I think we should have stricter rules about chat rooms and have more mods or paid people to go there and stop the Chaos.

And because ambis go in chats a lot, they should get chat controls to prevent this.

Yes it will. Imagine Mods there 24/7 or paid ones. It would help. And they can get suspended if reported alot from the chatroom.

Chat Mods was an old suggestion of mine. A Moderator just for chats. They have the ability to suspend people from just the chats, and warn them, kick them, etc. But Ambassadors could have the kicking ability at least to help control the chats some

When the chat sees an issue the users report. There was an issue earlier today but the chat people reported the spammer and the bully and both users got community suspended.

The best chat mods are the chatters themselves.

But I agree that there should be specific chat mods but they shouldn't be paid. OpenStudy needs money. I'm sure a lot of our great users would still work as a chat mod without earning a single cent.

how about volunteering openstudy people, and they will rise and obtain ranks for watching over chats. For example, a "Batman" rank for reporting 1000 people in the chats.
