Suggestion for @preetha: I think we should have qualified helpers, or maybe more mods who are good in those subjects in the dead subjects as well, because i see people all the time in those, and either their question never gets answered or it takes weeks to months!

Its all depends on who wants to help and if they know the question or not.
People mainly dont help because they dont know how to help.

Thats why we invite them @BloomLocke367 . We can do it to, if you see someone you know is good at a subject then invite them to OS and they can help bring back the topic and will cause other people to put interest in that topic :D

I thought about notifications when a new question is asked in a section of your interest. You could select the sections where you'd want to get notifications from. Basically the goal of this is to keep sections with low activity going, like physics, computer science, or geography.

If more people ask questions in the dead subject, and stay around to help others with their own questions... you have gotten helpers and askers and the dead subject can become alive again. :P
