Probability is the number of "favorable" outcomes divided by the number of possible outcomes. Since there are 30 marbles in the bag, there are 30 possible outcomes. 4 of those marbles are black, so 4 outcomes are "favorable" So the probability of picking a black is 4/30

OpenStudy (rainbowcupcake7997):

2/15

OpenStudy (rainbowcupcake7997):

add them all up=30 4 black ones -> 4/30 then divide by two 2/15
