Finding the mean is also finding the average. To find the mean, you need to add up all the results 3 + 8 + 12 + 8 + 12 + 4 + 6 + 12 = 86 Now divide 86 by the total results which is 10. 86 / 10 = 8.6 8.6 is your answer
