The expository essay is a genre of essay that requires the student to investigate an idea, evaluate evidence, expound on the idea, and set forth an argument concerning that idea in a clear and concise manner. This can be accomplished through comparison and contrast, definition, example, the analysis of cause and effect, etc. Source: https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/685/02/
The wording needs to concise and clear. Write the essay in the second person perspective (you). Decide on your method of development: define, compare and contrast, analyze, cause and effect, or classify. This will define your writing style and is one of the most important tips on writing an excellent expository essay. Write a thesis statement and have topic sentences for each paragraph. A successful essay will have the important points emphasized, will be factual and not subjective, and have valid information. Conclusions can restate the argument, summarize your facts, or give the next step needed to further the research. Keep your writing concise and brief. Each paragraph should cover one topic and each sentence should present a new idea. Use transitory words and sentences to make your essay flow smoothly. Connect sentences with words like: however, for example, or such as. Connect paragraphs by having the topic sentence refer back to the preceding paragraph or the thesis statement.
yeah but the part i dont get is if we have to do like... reason 1 as the 2nd paragraph reason 2 for the 3rd paragraph and then reason 3 for paragraph 4 is it right or is that a different essay?
I remember writing this before.
You can also search it on Google.
yeah but i tried and i dont get it... can you explain it more clearly?
The expository essay is a genre of essay that requires the student to investigate an idea, evaluate evidence, expound on the idea, and set forth an argument concerning that idea in a clear and concise manner.
Yeah, but is it like three reasons? Three reasons means three reasons for your topic and three reasons for your body paragraphs
Body #1:: Reason 1 Body #2: Reason 2 Body #3: Reason 3 Is it like that??

I so do not know how I passed my writing test... xD I just looked at some examples on google images and thought of an idea and put it in... xD

There are three reasons. But you can try and look on google images and just overview some examples and think what if I wrote my essay like that.
