I'm pretty sure the answer is A. It doesn't make things confusing, it tells you what it means in Spanish. So B is canceled out. It doesn't make it adventurous because there is nothing in Spanish (in the book) that is exciting. It most definitely does NOT make things funny. So the only reasonable answer would be A.
