I noticed that I sometimes don't get new notifications until I open a new tab...is there any reason for that?

I think it is when the script is going wonky or having issues talking to the server.

Oh ok I see...because it happens almost every day and was annoying me a little.

well if you wait a bit the notifiers come by themselves :P
