Okay I'd just like to know if this happens with other users as well, but sometimes when I'm answering other people's question, where it involves using the equation feature on OS, whenever I drag that aside to have a better look at the question again, it's like as if its stuck to my cursor and doesn't go off, in the end I always have to open the question in a new tab and all the formulas I wrote in there is just gone
The tools can be dragged? o_o
OH wow they can! I never knew! XD
Is it possible for you to screenshot it? :)
Yes, Eclipsed, they can be dragged. XD
there you go! :)
Oh wow...well my cursor doesn't get stuck though... o.o
yeah, some people are saying that it's not creating a issue for them while others disagree so... :/
You're using Chrome too...weird :/
yup
@e.mccormick
btw I know this is random but I like ur Yui Icon from K-ON xD
LOL
hahaha thanks! x'D
LOL eclipsed
\(\color{blue}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @nopen yeah, some people are saying that it's not creating a issue for them while others disagree so... :/ \(\color{blue}{\text{End of Quote}}\) those "some people" are aware of this bug bec they use draw and equation tO_Olls every day
so math owls
yes, I also had that problem before. Some solutions I get, which works perfectly. • Refresh (it helps but all you have to redo what you did, so not a good one) • Move your cursor really fast until the equation/draw box stops following your cursor (this works for me, maybe you can try it) :)
that works for draw tO_Oll^ not for equation tO_Oll
happens after i eat sticky buns :)
and yeah, the dialog boxes have been know to stick to the mouse, i used to have to do a quick jerk motion to unhinge it ... for lack of any technical terms
It has happened to me only for the draw tool, but I don't know about the equation tool, as I write latex by hand and I don't use the equation editor at all. One way how I get around it is by right clicking and then moving my mouse adn clicking a button on the editor. I have to do it for a few times until it gets unstuck :P
It happens to a lot of people and not just on OS. It is a matter of scope when using he mouse and if it changes, things can get wonky. Personally, my suggestion is to use the Code Cogs Equation Editor and copy/paste OR hand code. http://www.codecogs.com/eqneditor
\[\huge Ax^2+Bx+Chocolates=12\]
[tex]\huge Ax^2+Bx+Chocolates=12[/tex]
Yah, the tex bloc does not work. Only `$$\LaTeX$$`, `\[\LaTeX\]` and `\(\LaTeX\)`.
yeah i noticed so what's HTML and PRE ?
They do not have support for those, but the accent on the same key as ~ does a code highlight mode similar to PRE. Inine is one \(`\backslash [\backslash LaTeX \backslash ]`\) to get `\[\LaTeX\] `. Or ``` above and below a block to get block mode: \[ ```\\ some ~code\\ some ~more\\ ```\] to get: ``` some code some more ```
``` chocolates ``` ``` awww cO_Ol!!! ``` ``` thanks!! ```
It creates so many issues for me. It happens most of the time I try to drag it to see the question
Get's so annoying because I would have to restart my drawing or whatever I was working on, but I figured out how to do this |dw:1431234268243:dw| sometimes it gets stuck on my cursor when adjusting the size, but not as often
well for drawing like datat_lg2's said • "Move your cursor really fast until the equation/draw box stops following your cursor" that works for drawing so you can fix it
Smallest |dw:1431234323799:dw| Biggest (how big I could get it at least ) |dw:1431234454366:dw|
