OpenStudy (babynini):

@zepdrix do you have more time? :) @freckles ?

Nnesha (nnesha):

aww got it *i guess* :D

Nnesha (nnesha):

r u familiar with this formula ?\[\huge\rm cos ~2x = \cos^2 x - \sin^2 x\] and sin^2 theta = ?

OpenStudy (babynini):

sin^2(theta)=cos2x-cos^2x ?

Nnesha (nnesha):

hmm \[\huge\rm sin^2 + \cos^2 = 1\] i mean when you solve this equation for sin^2 what would you get other one that i posted is for cos(2 theta) :-)

OpenStudy (babynini):

oh haha wait. I don't know.

Nnesha (nnesha):

just subtract cos^2 both side ..

OpenStudy (babynini):

oh gosh, sorry. Tired. sin^2=1-cos^2

Nnesha (nnesha):

yeah right now replace \[\rm cos(2 \theta)\] by cos^2 - sin^2 and sin^2 by 1-cos^2 in the equation |dw:1431238563008:dw|
