Solve the problem below. https://nnds-li.brainhoney.com/Resource/19791663,8AE/Assets/assessmentimages/geometry_part_2_u4l5_5.jpg 112° 34° 22° 68°

OpenStudy (18jonea):

@amistre64

OpenStudy (amistre64):

what is arc AD?

OpenStudy (18jonea):

what do you mean

OpenStudy (amistre64):

what is the measure of arc AD

OpenStudy (18jonea):

i dont know

OpenStudy (amistre64):

oh, i think you do know, your just not aware if what im asking. the arc in front of a central angle is equal to the angle. arc(AC) = ang(AOC) arc(AC) + arc(AD) = 180

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the arc from C to D is half a circle right?

OpenStudy (18jonea):

68 degrees is arc ac

OpenStudy (amistre64):

good, then arc AD = 180 - 68

OpenStudy (18jonea):

so 112

OpenStudy (amistre64):

good, now heres a useful property the angle on a rim, is half the subtended arc by symmetry, arc(BD) = arc(AD) arc(BC) is subtended by ang(BCO) arc(AD) is subtended by ang(DA ray?) |dw:1431271638857:dw|
