The epithelial tissue in plants is a barrier that prevents any damage . it can protect from radiation, toxins, bumps, cuts. It helps absorb water & nutrients

There are three types of ground tissues 1.) Parenchyma Tissue 2.) Collenchyma Tissue 3.) Sclerenchyma Tissue In Parenchyma Tissues, photosynthesis occurs, it is also used for food storage. for Collenchyma it's function is to provide support and fill in vacant spaces that will be used for later growth. For Sclerenchyma Tissue, it's function is supporting the plant's structure.
