Why was there postwar pessimism? (After WW1) a. Governments denied extending the franchise to women. b. Conservatism in U.S. and European governments was revived. c. Christian religious beliefs were obliterated as a result of war. d. People were disillusioned by the brutal reality of industrialized warfare. My guess is D, is that correct?
