I'm new here, if you register and do problem sets on a course can you actually turn them in? Or do you just know yourself that you have done it?

The OCW stuff is self paced.  This site is a learning/tutoring site.  By using the two together you can get a bit of support while self learning.

i'm guessing that what E is trying to say is that you are to sort of just know. i have not seen a link to register for the class.. if you've found one can you link it please?

there is a graded version of this course on EdX where you turn in assignments and have a final exam, there's a session starting on the 10th of june. https://www.edx.org/course/introduction-computer-science-mitx-6-00-1x-0
