What is the solution to the equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

e^3x=12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Nnesha

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

Take logarithm on both sides

Nnesha (nnesha):

to cancel out "e" you should take " ln" both side for example \[\huge\rm ln e^x = x\]\[\huge\rm \cancel{\ln e}^{Nnesha}= Nnesha\]

Nnesha (nnesha):

;3

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

Haha

Nnesha (nnesha):

ahha:P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 3x=12?

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

ln12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait no

Nnesha (nnesha):

"both side"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

\[3x=\ln12\] now just solve for x :P

Nnesha (nnesha):

np :-)
