How to merge 2 images in GIMP? Please help :)
@wio please help
I don't know how to use GIMP.
:( okay
do you know anyone who can help me?
what do you mean by merge? as in a side by side or a smaller image in a bigger image?
two image side by side
i don't think i've ever done that
i guess you can open a new file, with dimensions big enough to have both pictures, then "open as layer" the two pics
i did that
but the size of both image are almost same
how about you attach the images and i'll try to do it for you?
can you give me the dimensions of the pics?
yep just give me some sec
241 X 318 pixels 218 X 288 pixels
you can scale the first picture to exactly 218 x 288. so make the new file as 436 x 288
once you scale the first image to 218 x 288, "open as layer" both of the images and move them around. viola
so the second pic must be opened first
what after that Sir
okay i'll manage Thank you so much :)
open the first image and scale it to 218 x 288. then open a new file with the dimensions 436 x 288. in the new file, "open as layers" the two images. then move them around so they're in the right place
well if i open that pic it will be of 218 X 288 na
gotta go now. hope it all works out
the first image meaning? which dimension?
the bigger one. you have to scale it down
have the bigger one open and go to image > scale image, and put in 218 x 288
put that in width and height?
okay i did that
