xD

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

velocity = distance/time vel = 400 km /time (vel + 12) = 400 km / (time -100 minutes) vel*time = 400 (vel + 12) * (time -100 minutes) = 400 vel*time = (vel + 12) * (time -100 minutes)

OpenStudy (welshfella):

you have 2 equations v = 400/t v + 12 = 400 / ( t - 5/3) solve for v and t

OpenStudy (welshfella):

the second equation can be written as v + 12 = 1200 / (3t - 5) from the first equation t = 400/v so plug this into the above equation and solve for v

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

And I was gonna answer this... didn't see the answers already posted :c x km/h = y minutes of 400 km x+12 km/h = y-100 minutes for 400 km

OpenStudy (aaronandyson):

how 5/3?
