OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Any ideas?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not for this one

OpenStudy (sepeario):

what i would do first would be to multiply both sides by 5 first.

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

use the idea of balance

OpenStudy (sepeario):

hence 5x=4(x+10)

OpenStudy (sepeario):

then solve and expand: 5x=4x+40, remove 4x from both sides hence x = 40

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh great.

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

don't forget to check your answer :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but is it right ?
