Support the following statement using a variety of examples: Migration significantly changes populations.

Okay, let's say a big conflict wrecks a country, so people die, and the survivors want to leave for a better place. So they migrate. Let's say that there are two million people in the country of X, and that country gets smashed up. Half a million people die in the fighting, so the remaining 1.5 million, out of them, 1 million decide to migrate. That leaves country X with .5 million. I think that kind of answers the question.
