Which sentence is written correctly? A. Sophie doesn't know nothing about this movie. B. I would never leave town without a spare tire in the car. C. Fiona said she wouldn't mow a wet lawn never again. D. Don't you have no games this weekend?

OpenStudy (royalkiwi):

B is the correct answer. The rest of the sentences contain errors.

Not the ones with redneck grammer.

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

I think it is safe to assume that the error that they want you to find in the incorrect sentences is their double negatives, which is when someone uses a word like "no" or something to that effect more than once. Let me set a scene here. Think of that one time you went to that dangerous side of the neighborhood and some guy threatens to steal all of your cash. You're all like "Woah! Take it easy, man! I don't want any trouble!" to which they reply "There ain't gonna be no trouble if yo toss me dem breads!" See how that sounds incorrect?

OpenStudy (royalkiwi):

A should be "Sophie doesn't know anything about this movie. C should be " Fiona said she wouldn't mow a wet lawn ever again. D consists of the wrong wording "no games"

OpenStudy (royalkiwi):

i was explaining why
