well...... i think it should be no, because many stupid thing happens to those who uses marijuana. my sister was born with it in her system.... but then again, even if it turn out to be illegal, then ppl going to do it anyways. look at the drinking law. even tho its a certain age, ppl r still breaking the law. so, i would go with the point that it should stay illegal, because of what happens to a lot of ppl who uses it..... MY step mother use to do it, and her reaction was abusing me and my sisters......

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks for ur opinion can u have other ppl read my question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, i guess it depends, if it is used for medical purposes then id say fine, but if its just used for people to get stupid and high then i say no. My ex girlfriend got high and when she was high she got raped so ig that kind of effects my answer. :/

hell fu.ckin yes it shld be legal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thx

OpenStudy (<3meggann<3):

People are going to do what they want, legally or illegally, the way I see it, having marijuana be illegal just causes more harm then good. It's just a waste of time when someone gets busted for smoking pot, when someone else could have been caught for a much more serious crime.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It should be legal for medical reasons. Could also be legal for recreational use if it can bring in $$$$ for the governement.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you @<3MEGGANN<3 and @SoapyDan

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The reason that I think that marijuana should be legalized is because there would be less people in jail and prison due to marijuana. And because the government would be able to put a tax on it adn make more revenue on it to help us make more money...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is just my personal opinion. It is everyone's opinion on whether or not they should legalize marijuana or not though.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

your welcome

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

If you wish to keep your brain, don't do it, legal or not. The stupidest argument is that it is no worse than alcohol. Well, whoever said alcohol was a brilliant idea? Some of the effects of THC are TIME DISTORTION and DISTANCE DISTORTION. It cannot be argued that this will not cause highway deaths. If other medicinal uses outweigh the risks (your brain or maybe death), glaucoma and chemo-therapy come immediately to mind, then there may be appropriate usage. There is just no reason for a drug of this sort to be available for general usage. "Getting high" is NOT a valid usage. However, public pressure of a few, masquerading as a majority, may sway political opinions in the fight to be reelected. Clearly, this is already happening as Pres. Obama seems to think that all the good role models are in prison on nonviolent drug charges. This is NOT the majority view, nor is it socially helpful, but it does push the agenda. My views. I welcome others'.

OpenStudy (teresar7):

so true!

thank you @tkhunny
