Line EF bisects ∠AOD. What is the measure of ∠BOF? http://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/1294500_1295000/1294586/1/709b193e3a9ab675ed6150382f11c9ce2978ec4a/150076.jpg

@LegendarySadist

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

the word bisects, means to cut into 2 equal parts... so find half of angle AOD, which is the measure of BOF

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@campbell_st its a acute angle so it has to be less than 90

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

yes but look at the diagram... AB and CD intersect at right angles that is a fact you need to use...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ 90 }{ 2 }=answer\]

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

there you go... someone always gives the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it cant be a fraction :p

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

so if 1 angle at the point of intersection of AB and CD is shown as a right angle... all 4 angles at the intersection are right angles... remember bisect means to cut into 2 equal parts..

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

what is half of 90...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@campbell_st 90 / 2 = 45

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@campbell_st 90 / 2 = 45
